This Unit Looks Almost Exactly Like the 13857 Used on Earlier Toyota EchoÆs, With the Exception of the Plug in This Unit is Square (L-IG-S-M), Instead of Oval. This Unit Uses a 4-Groove Serpentine Pulley (58mm OD). There Was a Toyota Service Bulletin Issued (#EL002-07; January 26, 2007) That Outlines a Potential Corrosion Problem in the Voltage Regulator (Toyota #27700-21050). "Some customers may complain that the charging system warning light is illuminated on the instrument cluster of the vehicle. The charging system warning light may illuminate due to a corroded connection on the voltage regulator of the alternator". The Points of Possible Corrosion on the Regulator are Not Where the Regulator is Attached to the Alternator, But Appear to Be at Two Different Spots on the Backside of the Regulator Itself. The Repair is to Either Replace the Regulator or the Complete Alternator.
