epartsglobal.com is operated by Charging Systems Inc., doing business as ePartsGlobal ("ePartsGlobal", "we", "us"). This policy describes what information the site collects and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Quote requests. When you submit a request for quote, we collect the information you enter: your name, company (optional), email address, phone (optional), notes, and the parts list you built. This is delivered to our parts desk by email so a parts manager can reply to you.
  • Browsing data. Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Device storage. Your quote list and theme preference are stored in your own browser's local storage so they survive page reloads. They are not sent to us until you submit a quote request.
  • Analytics. We may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used — page views, referral sources, and general usage patterns. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.

We do not offer customer accounts today, and the site does not process payments. If that changes, this policy will be updated before launch of those features.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your quote request and to transact business you ask us to. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to operate the site and deliver your request (e.g. hosting, email delivery), or where required by law.

Retention

Quote-request emails are retained as ordinary business correspondence. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sales@epartsglobal.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; we honor verified requests regardless of where you're located.

Children

The site is intended for business and adult consumers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
