NotesThis Mitsubishi Internal Fan Alternator Looks Somewhat Like the 13608 That Preceded it, Except the Battery Stud Extension is at 10:00 Rather Than at 1:00, and the Plug Has Changed Shape. This Unit Uses a 4-Groove Pulley. Honda TSB #98-029 Warns of a Possible Problem With the Headlights and Dash Lights Dimming and the Blower Motor Slowing From Time to Time. The Probable Problem is a Bad Voltage Regulator, Although It Also Mentions That the Alternator "B" Terminal Wire Should Be Tightened at the Alternator and at the Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box. There is No Mention of an "Upgraded" Regulator for This Procedure, Just to Replace the Alternator. | This is a Mitsubishi Alternator for the 1999-2000 Honda Civic, and is Another Version of the 13649.
