Notes	This is a 110A Hitachi Alternator for the Infiniti Q45. This Unit Has an Offset Top Unthreaded Mounting Hole, and a Battery Extension Pointing Up at About 12:00. This Unit Uses a 6-Groove Pulley, and the Plug is on the Side of the Unit at About 1:00. There Appears to Be a Number of Units That Interchange Here - All Using OE No. LR1110-707 Followed By a Different Letter. Early Versions of the 13712 Used a Third Terminal in the Plug ("C" Terminal), But This Was Superseded to a Later 13712 Unit That Dropped This Terminal. The Units Interchange. Nissan Has Recalled the 1997 (2/97 Thru 2/98) Infiniti Q45 With This Alternator Because "One of the Diodes Used in the Alternator May Have Been Damaged When Built. This Can Eventually Result in Failure of the Diode and an Electrical Short Which Could Melt the Plastic Housing". The Recall Notice Goes on to Say That a Fire Could Result "If the Combustible Gas Emitted By the Melting Plastic Does Not Disperse (Properly)". \| This is Another Version of the 13712. Early Versions of the 13712 Used a Third Terminal in the Plug ("C" Terminal), But This Was Superseded to a Later 13712 Unit That Dropped This Terminal. The Units Will Interchange. See the Recall Notice Posted in the Notes on the Original 13712 (204-318).
