The 13639 May Very Well Interchange, According to Some in the Field Who Have Tried This. | TWO PIN PLUG, 6 GROOVE CONVENTIONAL PULLEY, 63MM PULLEY OD. | This is a 110A Version of the 125A 13612. Both Units Fit the Nissan Maxima and Infiniti I30. Nissan Has Recalled the 1997 (2/97 Thru 2/98) Maxima and Infiniti I30 With One or Both of the Alternators Used (Recall #02V171000 - See 13612) Because "One of the Diodes Used in the Alternator May Have Been Damaged When Built. This Can Eventually Result in Failure of the Diode and an Electrical Short Which Could Melt the Plastic Housing". The Recall Notice Goes on to Say That a Fire Could Result "If the Combustible Gas Emitted By the Melting Plastic Does Not Disperse (Properly)". Also, it is Critical That the Stators and Rear Housings on the 13612 and 13639 are NOT Mixed Up, as the Stator on the 13612 is Wider Than the 13639, and There is a Different Bushing on the Rear Bottom Mounting Hole to Compensate, so the Distance Between the Inside of the Front and Inside of the Bushing (Which is Basically the Length of the Mounting Spool in the Vehicle) is 79mm. If the Stator and Rear Housings are Mixed Up at All, Then the Spacing May Vary, and There Could Be a Problem With Housings Breaking When the Units are Installed. | This is a 110A Hitachi Alternator for the 2000-01 Infiniti I30 and Nissan Maxima. This Unit Has a 6-Groove Pulley. The 13639 May Very Well Interchange, According to Some in the Field Who Have Tried This. | This is a 110A Hitachi Alternator for the 2002 Infiniti I35 and Nissan Maxima With the 3.5L Engine. The LR11110-720 and LR1110-723 Appear to Be the Same Unit, as Does the 13826. The 13639 May Very Well Interchange, According to Some in the Field Who Have Tried This.
