NotesThis is a Bosch 136A Alternator for the 2003-05 Dodge RAM Pickup With the 5.9L Cummins Diesel Engine. This Unit Has an 8-Groove Pulley. The 11235 is the Same as the 13987, Except Using an 8-Groove Clutch Pulley. The 13985 Used on Other RAM Engines is Similar, Except Using a 7-Groove Pulley and the Battery Post Out the Side of the Unit. It is Reported That the 13985 Battery Post Will Hit the Intercooler on the Diesel Engines. There Have Been Reports of Excessive Belt Noise Upon Shutdown on Trucks Using This Alternator. Dodge Has Suggested Removing the Pulley and Replacing it With PIC 7920-2186 (Clutch Style) to Eliminate This problem. Another Solution Would Be to Simply Replace the Alternator Using Lester 11235, Which Came With This Pulley Originally.
