This is Similar to the 17577, Except the Distance From the Mounting Plane of the Front Housing to the Outer Edge of the Drive Pinion at Rest is 14mm Shorter (33mm vs. 47mm on the 17577). Do Not Interchange the Two. The NDenso Unit Built to Replace the 17578 (as the 16658 Replaces the 17037) is the 17802 (228000-8420). The 17802 Has Only 2 Mounting Holes, While the 17578 Has 3, But This is Not a Problem, as the 17802 WILL Fit. |
