This Unit Has 2 Mounting Holes (9:00 and 3:00 When the Solenoid is at 12:00), But are Facing Downward (Bolts Mount From the Top). The 11-Tooth Gear is at 6:00. There is a Battery Terminal Extension on the Solenoid - the Cable Attaches on the Top and the Starter Uses a Sponge Material Type Seal Around the Drive Opening to Keep Out Dirt, etc. The 17908 Looks Like the 17909 Used on Mazda 3 w/2.0L Engine, Except This is Rated at 1.4kw (vs 1.0kw) and the Static Pinion Position is Different. The 17909 (1.0kw) and 17914 (1.4kw) Share the Same Static Position; the 17908 is Different. The 17908 Looks Like a Mitsubishi Version of the Ford 6657, Although There is No Info on Interchangeability.
