NotesThis is a New Style Ford PMGR Starter for 1997 Ford Explorer, Etc. This is Unlike Any Previous Unit - The Opening is Right, the Mounting Bolt Holes are 11:00 and 6:00, and There is a Pronounced "Flange" On the Drive Opening Side of the Front Mounting Surface Plane. This Unit Uses the Standard 10-T Drive and Spade Terminal Solenoid (LH). The 3273 is a Later Version Using a Solenoid Stud on the Right-Hand Side of the Solenoid (RH), Rather Than s 1/4" Spade Terminal on the Left-Hand Side (LH). Vintage Lester Catalogs Called the 3271 a Prestolite OE #MAX4038, But No Other Information Was Available, So the Number Was Dropped.
