NotesThis is a Later Version of the 3263, Where the Drive End (Bushing Area) Has Been Slightly Modified (the Aluminum Casting Has a Single Straight Protrusion From the Bushing Area to Drive Area on the 3263, While There Are 2 Protrusions at a 45 Degree Angle on the 6656) to Accept Later Changes in the Transaxle Mounting Area (This is According to Ford). The 6656 Can Replace the 3263, But the 3263 Cannot Replace the 6656, as This Protrusion is in the Way. The 8A01-1840S-A is the Same Unit, in a European Application. | This is the Unit Used on the Jaguar X-Type. This is Supposed to Be the Exact Same as the 6656, Except Without Threaded Extensions on the Through Bolts (According to Ford). Also There is a Blue Sheath on the Field Lead to the Solenoid, But This is For Identification Only - the Brushholder is the Same as the Other 6656's.
