NotesThis is a Ford 110A 6G Alternator Used on E-Series Vans With the 7.3L Diesel Engine, and the Optional Ambulance Package. When This Package is Installed, There are Actually Two Alternators on the Van - Lester 7797 and 7798 (See 7797). This Unit Uses the Same Front Housing as the 7796 and 7799 (Used on the Ford F-Series), But the Plug on This Unit is at 11:00 (Rather Than 3:00 on the 7796), and the 7798 Uses a Extension Plug Off of the Main Battery Terminal Stud (Different Than the One Used on the 7799). Also, the 7798 Uses a Different 8-Groove Pulley Than the 7796 and 7799. The 7798 is the Bottom Unit on the Truck, While the 7797 is the Top Unit.
