| Notes | This is a 6G Alternator for the 2003-04 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator With the 4.6L and 5.4L Engines. This Unit Uses a Regulator With Load Response Control, a Conventional 6-Groove Pulley, and a Rectifier With Avalanche Diodes. Replaced by Lester 8303 / PIC 250-432 to correct a possible PCM / alternator issue. Ford TSB #TSB 04-14-9 (2004) says: "Some 2003-2004 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit the following symptoms in any combination: ò Intermittent Driveability Concerns ò Intermittent Flickering Of The Charging System Warning Indicator ò Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) On With DTCÆs P0620 And/Or P0320 In Memory These conditions may be caused either by chafing or corrosion of the 14305 harness, or an interaction of the PCM with the charging system." Depending on When the Vehicle Was Built Depends on What Type of Action Must Be Taken. Actions Include Replacing the Harness and Re-Programming the PCM, BUT This TSB Should Be Reviewed for the Actual Procedures to Be Used.
