NotesThis is the Alternator for the 2003-04 Ford Excursion and F-Series Trucks With the New 6.0L Diesel Engine. Ford Rates This Unit at 110A, But This is Not Confirmed. This Unit Uses an 8-Groove Pulley (According to Visteon). The B+ Extension is Short and Stubby (Green in Color). This Unit Uses the Standard Grey / Grey 6G Regulator in the Early Models, and the Later Grey / Green Regulator in the Later Models. This Grey / Green Regulator Should Be Used in All 8306 Units to Insure Compatability. The 8307 (135A) is a Larger Version of the 8306, With the Same Mounting Pattern. The 8316 is Basically the Same Unit, Except Using a Different Pulley, a Rectifier With Avalanche Diodes, and No Extension on the Battery Stud. | This Unit Matches the Description of the 8306. The Main Difference Between This Version and Earlier Versions is That the Regulator Changed From the Grey / Grey to the Grey / Green Style. The 8445 is the Same as the 8306 Using This Later Style Regulator. The 8307 (135A) is a Larger Version of the 8306, With the Same Mounting Pattern. The 8316 is Basically the Same Unit, Except Using a Different Pulley, a Rectifier With Avalanche Diodes, and No Extension on the Battery Stud.
