NotesThis Unit Fits the 2004-On Ford F-Series Pickups With the 4.6L and 5.4L Engines. This Unit Looks Like the 8310, Except This Has a B+ Extension on the Battery Terminal (Green) AND the Regulators are Different, Making the 8310 and 8318 NOT Interchangeable. The Regulator in the 8318 is #4L3U-10C359-AA (White w/Blue Cover), But is the Same as the Earlier XW4U-10C359-AB (White w/Black Cover). It Has Also Been Noted By Some That the Later Used 8443 is Identical in All Ways to the 8318 (Including the Regulator Used). If This is True, the Two Can Be Interchanged.
