NotesThis is a Ford 6G Alternator for F-Series Trucks Over 8000 GVW From 2005-On. This Unit is Just Like the 8316, Also Using a "Grey / Green" Regulator (#VP3C3U-10C359-AA), But Reverting Back to a Rectifier That Does Not Use Avalanche Diodes. The Pulleys Also Vary Slightly Between the 8316 and 8479. The 8479 May Actually Be a Late 7796, But Not Enough is Known Yet to Make This Statement for Sure.
